Ken up in Greenville, S.C. and has degrees from Furman University and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Ken has been a pastor since 1971, having served churches in Kentucky and South Carolina. He was pastor of First Baptist of Newberry for 30 years before retiring from full-time ministry. Ken now lives in Irmo and has served as an interim pastor with five churches in the Lexington Baptist Association. He is a widower, his wife having died in December of 2021. He has a daughter and son-in-law who have two daughters who live in the subdivision behind his. He also has a son and daughter-in-law who have three sons and who live in Chapin. Ken is excited to serve our FAITH family and is looking forward to what God has in store in the days ahead!
